Calíope Sorore

Calíope Sorore is a duo formed by soprano Laura Kmetič and lutenist Liana Llauger, united by a shared devotion to the intimacy and expressive depth of early music. Through a delicate dialogue between voice and archlute, they explore sacred and secular repertoire from the 16th and 17th centuries, favoring quiet, attentive listening over choral monumentality. Conceived for churches, chapels, and chamber spaces, their programs bring together each artist's specialization in historical performance to create recitals built on nuance, text, and genuine musical conversation.
